WARRANTY

Pilates Health Equipment warrants that all equipment supplied is free of manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, subject to the terms listed below:

Warranty Specific Periods for Performance and Signature Series:

Performance Series (see “Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)" below)

  • 4 Years Warranty: Aluminium carriage rails, components of the aluminium frame, related welding and gearbar;
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty: Springs, pullies, ropes and handles;
  • 4 Months Limited Warranty: Upholstery [See below for Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)];
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty: All other reformer components and accessories.

Signature Series (see “Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)" below)

Reformers and Trapeze Table / Cadillac:

  • 4 Years Warranty: Timber frame sections and gearbar;
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty: Springs, pullies, ropes and handles;
  • 4 Months Limited Warranty: Upholstery [See below for Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)];
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty: All other reformer and trapeze components and accessories.

Combo Chair:

  • 4 Years Warranty: Timber frame sections, pedal system, stabilising pole support brackets;
  • 4 Months Limited Warranty: Upholstery [See below for Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)];
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty: All other chair components.

Ladder Barrel:

  • 4 Years Warranty: Timber frame sections, steel frame sections;
  • 4 Months Limited Warranty: Upholstery [See below for Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)];
  • 1 Year Limited Warranty: All other Ladder Barrel components.

Spine Correctors:

  • 4 Years Warranty: Timber frame;
  • 4 Months Limited Warranty: Upholstery [See below for Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series)].

 

Conditions of Warranty (Performance and Signature Series):

Warranty will be provided for equipment:

1. Where proof of purchase can be demonstrated by the original purchaser;
2. Where a claim is made within the warranty period for the specific component of the equipment (Warranty period begins from date of invoice);
3. For the remainder term of the original warranty period after being repaired or replaced under the terms of this agreement.

Warranty coverage does not include:

1. Costs for freight/shipping, or any associated cost of freight/shipping;
2. Costs for installing warranty supplied parts;
3. Damage to the appearance of any equipment.
4. The Limited Warranties above do not cover mechanical wear on parts;
5. Normal wear and tear;
6. Damage caused by failure to follow instructions;
7. Misuse, abuse, modification, unauthorized repair;
8. Scratches to the finish, tears or indentations in the upholstery or foam.

The warranty shall be null and void if:

1. Equipment is used for any other purpose other than that it was intended;
2. Springs on spring-loaded equipment including Reformers, Trapeze Towers, Trapeze Tables / Cadillacs, Spring Wall Boards, Wall Units are not changed every two (2) years;
3. Springs on spring-loaded Chairs are not changed every one (1) year;
4. Guidelines for assembly and appropriate use as specified in equipment manual are not followed;
5. Is stored or used outdoors, or in environments without adequate climate/humidity controls;
6. Where the equipment was subjected to any one of the below conditions:
   a. Involved in an accident;
   b. Where misuse of the equipment occurred;
   c. Where the equipment suffered abuse of any kind;
   d. Where the equipment was serviced by an unauthorised service provider; or
   e. Where a modification/alteration was carried out upon the equipment which was not authorised by Pilates Health Equipment and/or differs from the equipment's original specifications supplied by Pilates Health Equipment.

NOTE: Pilates Health Equipment will, at its option, repair or replace warranted parts, provided that these part(s) fail due to a defect in workmanship or materials and provided such failure is reported to the Pilates Health Equipment within the part-specific warranty periods mentioned above.

Upholstery

The upholstery will be replaced if it fails to give normal wear for 4 months from date of original invoice. Proof of damage will be required. This warranty does not cover burns, cuts, soiling, stains, pet damage, damage to upholstery caused by corrosive, abrasive or chemical cleansers, or damage caused by other unreasonable use. If the identical upholstery is not available, an equivalent upholstery will be provided.

 

Non-returnable Items: All Pilates Health Equipment Springs, Loops, Handles, Footstraps, Fluffies are non-returnable.

 


 

Warranty Specific Periods for Home Series Folding Reformer:

Home Series (see “Conditions of Warranty (Home Series)" below)

  • 1 Year Warranty: Aluminium carriage rails, components of the aluminium frame, resistance tubes, pullies, ropes and handles;
  • 4 Months Limited Warranty: Upholstery [See Conditions of Warranty (Homes Series Folding Reformer)].

 

Conditions of Warranty (Home Series Folding Reformer):

Warranty will be provided for equipment:

1. Where proof of purchase can be demonstrated by the original purchaser;
2. Where a claim is made within the warranty period for the specific component of the equipment (Warranty period begins from date of invoice);
3. For the remainder term of the original warranty period after being repaired or replaced under the terms of this agreement.

Warranty coverage does not include:

1. Costs for freight/shipping, or any associated cost of freight/shipping;
2. Costs for installing warranty supplied parts;
3. Damage to the appearance of any equipment.
4. The Limited Warranties above do not cover mechanical wear on parts;
5. Normal wear and tear;
6. Damage caused by failure to follow instructions;
7. Misuse, abuse, modification, unauthorized repair;
8. Scratches to the finish, tears or indentations in the upholstery or foam.

The warranty shall be null and void if:

1. Equipment is used for any other purpose other than that it was intended;
2. Equipment is used for commercial use.  Commercial Use includes use of the equipment in Pilates studios, health and/or fitness clubs, spas, gyms, or any other type of commercial fitness facility offering fitness services to the public; including all other use which is not for personal, family or household purposes.
3. Guidelines for assembly and appropriate use as specified in equipment manual are not followed;
4. Is stored or used outdoors, or in environments without adequate climate/humidity controls;
5. Where the equipment was subjected to any one of the below conditions:
   a. Involved in an accident;
   b. Where misuse of the equipment occurred;
   c. Where the equipment suffered abuse of any kind;
   d. Where the equipment was serviced by an unauthorised service provider; or
   e. Where a modification/alteration was carried out upon the equipment which was not authorised by Pilates Health Equipment and/or differs from the equipment's original specifications supplied by Pilates Health Equipment.

NOTE: Pilates Health Equipment will, at its option, repair or replace warranted parts, provided that these part(s) fail due to a defect in workmanship or materials and provided such failure is reported to the Pilates Health Equipment within the part-specific warranty periods mentioned above.

Upholstery

This warranty does not cover burns, cuts, soiling, stains, pet damage, damage to upholstery caused by corrosive, abrasive or chemical cleansers, or damage caused by other unreasonable use. If the identical upholstery is not available, an equivalent upholstery will be provided.

 

Non-returnable Items: All Pilates Health Equipment Resistance Tubes, Loops, Handles, Footstraps are non-returnable.

 


 

Warranty For All Other Equipment Models and Items:

Upholstery

The upholstery will be replaced if it fails to give normal wear for 90 days/ 3 months from date of original invoice. Proof of damage will be required. This warranty does not cover burns, cuts, soiling, stains, pet damage, damage to upholstery caused by corrosive, abrasive or chemical cleansers, or damage caused by other unreasonable use. If the identical upholstery is not available, an equivalent upholstery will be provided.

Warranty Specific Periods for All Other Equipment Models and Items:

Reformers [including half and full trapeze]

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty on:

1. Timber or aluminium frames, frame assemblies and fasteners;
2. Springbar, carriage end-stop and footbar mechanisms;
3. Sliding carriage frame, rollers and roller fasteners;
4. Specific wear and tear items including: ropes, safety straps, spring clips, pulleys, springs.

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty:

1. On upholstery;
2. Handles and footbar coverings;
3. Fluffies for Trapeze.

For all other items not listed above, the default is Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty.

Reformer Accessories

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty is extended on the below and in regard to wood components, frames, and related welding: Jump Boards, Reformer Standing Platforms, Trapeze Headrest and Long | Short Boxes.

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty on fabric or upholstery of: Jump Boards, Reformer Standing Platforms, Trapeze Headrest and Long | Short Boxes.

Cadillac | Trapeze Table | Wall Unit | Wall Bars | Springboard

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty is extended in regard to wood components/ frame, stainless overhead bars/frame and fastenings thereof, and related welding of stainless frame.

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty on upholstery and material coverings to hand bars.

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty on all other components.

Wunda Chairs [including Solid or Steel base models]

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty on upholstery and material coverings to hand grips, and resistance bands if purchased.

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty on all other components.

Ladder Barrel

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty on upholstery.

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty on all other components.

Spine Correctors, ARC Barrels

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty on upholstery.

Twelve [12] month Manufacturers Limited Warranty on all other components.

Spare Parts

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty.

Warranty is null and void if spare parts are purchased for any other manufacturers' equipment. 
Spare parts purchased from Pilates Health Equipment are for customers using the Pilates Health Equipment brand of equipment!

Pilates Rings / Magic Circles

Ninety [90] day Manufacturers Limited Warranty. This warranty excludes scratches/indentations to the finish of the band or moulded handles, or indentations to foam pads.

Exclusion of all other warranties: Except for the limited warranties detailed above, Pilates Health Equipment expressly disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, quality or fitness for a particular purpose. Pilates Health Equipment assumes no responsibility whatsoever with respect to the use or disposition of its products by Buyer. No oral or written information or advice given by Pilates Health Equipment or any of its representatives shall create a warranty, whether express or implied, or in any way alter the scope of this exclusion of warranties. By accepting delivery of any product, buyer acknowledges and agrees that Pilates Health Equipment has made no representations or warranties, express or implied, to or for the benefit of Buyer which contradict any of the foregoing.
